cosmoONE, a subsidiary company of OTE Group, developed, for the Public Power Corporation S.A.- Hellas the 1st Dynamic purchasing System, which was distinguished with ΒRΟΝΖΕ ΑWARD at Business IT Excellence Awards 2016.
Expanding its already existing cooperation for the provision of services for the implementation of Electronic Auctions and Marketplace, cosmoONE undertook the full development of the software for the operation of theDynamic Purchasing System, in accordance with the E.E. standards and the specialized operational requirements of the Public Power Corporation S.A.- Hellas.
The implementation was based on the existing infrastructure and the technologies of B2B Marketplace of the company and the application includes operations of electronic catalogues and tenders, as well as communication portals for internal and external users.
In the framework of the constant improvement of the procedures of the Directorate General of Supportive Operations of the Public Power Corporation S.A.- Hellas, the Dynamic Purchasing System allows the company to realize electronically a series of procedures, such as drawing up notices, tender notices, placing notice documents and contracts, evaluating requests to participate, having access to statistics e.t.c.
The Assistant Manager of the Directorate of Materials and Supplies of the Directorate General of Supportive Operations of the Public Power Corporation S.A.- Hellas , Mr Kostas Ntotsias stated on this: “The initiative of the Public Power Corporation S.A.- Hellas, for the inclusion of the use of the Dynamic Purchasing System of cosmoONE, in the existing procurement processes, was based on our constant effort for their modernization, their simplification and their flexibility.
The new online procurement conducting environment will contribute significantly to the further rationalization of the procurement costs of products, services and projects and subsequently to the efficiency of the company, the promotion of the rules of the single European market, the achievement of broader operational objectives, such as environmental awareness, as well as the provision of opportunities for cooperation with small and medium-sized enterprises.”
