cosmoONE Hellas Marketsite A . E . with the auctions held in February of 2006, exceeded one thousand (1000) online auctions.
Specifically, in almost five years of providing online auction services, eighty-three thousand (1,083) Auctions took place, both Forward and Reverse, of eight different types, involving 6,528 companies. The total value of goods and services tendered amounted to 150 million Euros, while 26,910 bids were submitted with 5,950 extensions.
On average, each Online Auction was attended by 6.5 firms. The average value of each Auction amounted to 140 thousand Euro. On average there were 23 bids per auction and 6 extensions. Finally, the average benefit (cost reduction) for each auction amounted to 24% of the value of the auction.

The first B2B e-Auction was held in Greece in March 2001 by cosmoONE.
