cosmoONE exceeded the 1 billion euros in transactions

cosmoONE Hellas MarketSite S.A. announced that it exceeded the one billion euros in value of transactions, made through the E- Market and through the E- Auctions held in behalf of its clients.

Specifically at the days ending on the 26th November 2004, the total value of transactions made through cosmoONE, since its beginning of operations was 1.027.000.000. Even move significantly it is estimated that the amount saved by the companies that entrusted their transactions through cosmoONE, in comparison to what they would have spent if they had done their dealings through the traditional way, exceeded 130 million euros.

The conquest of this difficult goal is a very important milestone in the International level, taking into consideration the decline that has been occurring in the past years in the field of information technology, the less encouraging trend of similar companies in Greece and abroad, the very low penetration of Internet applications in the Greek businesses and the state of the national economy in general. This achievement becomes more important taking into consideration that the inauguration of the company’s operations coincided with the beginning of the crisis in the Internet economy and the information technology both in Central Europe and the U.S.
